After more than two decades of working with boards, CEOs, governments, and senior executives across more than forty countries, I reached a simple but profound conclusion.
The world does not suffer from a shortage of leadership programmes.
It suffers from a shortage of leadership clarity and leadership capacity.
Organisations invest billions in developing leaders, yet continue to struggle with fragmented decision-making, strategic inconsistency, leadership transitions, cultural drift, and the growing complexity of today's world.
The question is no longer how to develop better leaders.
The question is how to build greater leadership capacity.
That realisation led to the creation of the Visionary Leadership Institute (VLI).
VLI is an independent institution dedicated to advancing the global standards of visionary leadership, organisational clarity, and leadership capacity. It exists to help organisations move beyond individual leadership development and build the capabilities required to sustain long-term performance, coherence, and strategic direction.
Today, VLI develops internationally recognised standards, executive certifications, organisational assessment frameworks, research initiatives, and a growing global network of Licensed Partners who bring these standards to organisations around the world.
My books, research, and leadership frameworks — including The Vision Code, Leaderology, Corporate Superpower, and Beyond Chaos — form the intellectual foundation upon which the Institute has been built.
While I continue to advise a limited number of boards, CEOs, and governments personally, my primary mission today is to develop the Visionary Leadership Institute as the institutional home for the next generation of visionary leadership.
